GHALANAI: Women blocked the Peshawar-Mohmand Road here on Monday to protest against the staff at the Nadra citizen facilitation centre here allegedly for demanding bribe from people.

The burga-clad women chanted slogans against the Nadra staff.

The women said even drinking water was not available at the Nadra centre.

An official at the facilitation centre said that separate days have been fixed for all the tribes as hundreds of women came to the centre each day instead of the fixed 100. He said the women also violated the SOPs leading to mismanagement.
