LAHORE: The Punjab government has allocated Rs8.83 billion for the Sports and Youth Affairs in its hscal budget for 2022-23 announced here on Wednesday.

The funds of Rs7.50 bil-lion are fixed for the development sector while Rs400 million is for the construction of the Tehsil Sports Complexes.

The funds of Rs100m each for the upgrade of the schools and jail`s sports infrastructure are also fixed.
