PESHAWAR: The Khyber Medical University Peshawar will hold entrance test for admissions into the public and private sector medical and dental colleges on August 25, says a press statement.

The test will be held simultaneously indoor in more than 40 halls of seven centers including Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Swat, Hazara, Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan divisions/regions.

The number of halls can be increased or decreased as per the number of students.

It is mandatory for the candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal districts, overseas Pakistanis and foreign nationals to appear in the test for admission to any public sector medical/dental colleges/ institutions of the province or any private sector medical/ dental colleges/institutions of the country.

As per Pakistan Medical and Dental Council`s new promulgated rules, a candidate intending to get admission in medical/dental programs, must have passed intermediate/ HSSC pre-medical group or equivalent examination with minimum 70 per cent unadjusted marks.
