LA HOR E: The Pakist an Tehreeki-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Q on Wednesday held a joint parliamentary meeting and decided a strategy for the secretballot election of speaker and deputy speaker in Punjab Assembly.

The PTI in mutual agreement with the PML-Q has nominated Chaudhry Pervalz Elahi as speaker`s candidate and Sardar Dost Muhammad Mazari (of PTI) fromsouth Punjab for the deputy speaker`s slot.

`Over 180` MPAs participated in the meeting hosted by PTPs nominated Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar at a local hotel.

PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi as well as Chaudhry Sarwar and Pervaiz Elahi briefed the MPAs about the speaker and deputy speaker election process.
