LAHORE: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Tuesday sealed several eateries and food outlets in various parts of the city for flouting food handling and hygiene standards and laws.

A team in Allama Iqbal TownheadedbyPFADirector Ayesha Mumtaz sealed production units of Java Sweets and Chaman Sweets in Raiwind city. The team sealed GM Fast Food and Juice Corner on Samanabad Mor and Bismillah Juice Shop on Ponch Road.

In Ravi Town, a PFA team sealed Naimatullah and Agha Store and its concealed warehouse in Delhi Gate and Akbari Mandi and seized 2,000kg of adulterated tea.Shalimar Town team sealed Fri-Chicks on GT Road whereasanotherteaminData Ganj Bakhsh Town sealed Bismillah Hotel on Alamgir Road. It also sealed Ganj BakhshBurgerandShawarma Point, Bismillah Madina Restaurant and Naan Shop, Shahzad Juice Corner, Bao Murgh Chanay in Qila Gujjar Singh.
