SACRIFICING of animals on Eidul Azha is an Islamic duty. But the problem that we as a society have to face every year on this occasion is filth and unhygienic conditions.
People throw offal and other organs of the animals on the streets and in open spaces. It is true that the government has the responsibility to keep the cities clean, citizens too have a civic duty.Everyone sacrifices animals at their own place of convenience and even throws out the wastes wherever they wish. How can the concerned authorities pick up waste from every door step and which is scattered everywhere on the streets? Citizens should dispose of waste at designated places so thatitcan be collected by the authorities.
