I AM employed in Saudi Arabia and came on a three-week vacation to spend time with my family in Karachi who live in Gulshan Iqbal.
During my stay I found out that owing to water shortage, my family had to purchase water from tankers at least twice a week and during the Eid holidays every alternate day.
I would like to know why there is a watershortage and why the people are forced to buy water from tankers when they are billed for the same by the KWSB. Clean water is the right of the people, and it should be supplied to them at their doorstep.
I request the authorities to kindly look into and resolve the issue of water shortage in Gulshan.
