LAHORE: A teenage boy was stabbed to death at Badami Bagh on Thursday.

Police said labourer Shehzad, 17, had a brawl with his brother-in-law Asif at his house over some issue. Both exchanged words and Asif pulle d out a knife and stabbed Shehzad in the chest. The suspect managed his escape.

The boy suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at Mayo Hospital.

Police have shifted the body to the morgue and registered a case against Asif on the complaint of deceased`s brother Faisal.

Sub-Inspector Karamat Ali said police had started investigation and were carrying out raids to arrest the suspect.

Quoting Faisal he said both were sitting in the drawing room of the house and were exchanging words. He said Asif got enraged and stabbed Shehzad in the chest.

ACCIDENT: A pedestrian was 1(illed in a road accident at Shafiqabad.

Police said Rana Muddasir of Johar Town was crossing the road near Niazi Chowk when a car ran over him. The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital where he could not survive.

Police shifted the body to morgue and registered a case against unidentified car driver.
