B A H A W A L P U R : Special and strict measures would be taken for the security of Chinese engineers working on various projects in the district.
This was stated by District Police Officer (DPO) Ashfaq Ahmed Khan while presiding over a meeting of police officials here on Saturday.
He directed his subordinates to remain vigilant and ensure that projects which Chinese engineers were engaged in were 100pc safe and secured.
FORESTS: The conser-vator of forests for the Bahawalpur division, Muhammad Faisal Haroon, has clarified that the biosphere reserve management plan at Lal Sohanra National Park was submitted to the Federal Ministry of Climate Change and not the Ministry of Science and Technology as had been mentioned in a news report published on Friday.
He also corrected that the length of a road to be built to Patisar Lake (to be revived) was about 4km and not 6km as reported.
