KARACHI, Dec 15: Around 960 candidates appeared in the admission test on Sunday for masters programme of group-1 subjects in Karachi University.

A total of 10,879 male and female candidates had been registered but only 960 appeared in the test. The result would be announced on Dec 19.

The test was conducted under the National Testing Service at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology.

Director for admissions Prof Khalid Iraqi said that the admission test for candidates who had finished their BCom or BBA degrees.

Meanwhile, the deadline for the submitting forms for enrolment in the MPhil programme has been extended till Dec 20.

Moreover, students of LLM final year can also submit their thesis till Dec 17 with Rs1,500 as late fee in their respective law colleges.-PPI
