MITHI: Eminent rally driver Mir Nadir Magsi won the desert challenge jeep race organised during the three-day Thar Sports Festivalon Sunday.

Nadir completed the 100km distance in an hour and seven minutes, six minutes ahead of runner-up Sahibzada Sultan and 15 ahead of third-placed Khurram Chaudhry.

Tushna Patel won the women`s race, completing the distance in an hour and 25 minutes, just a minute ahead of MahimShiraz.-Correspondent
