KARAK: A local PML-N office-bearer was removed from his office in Teri union council of Banda Daud Shah tehsil on Sunday.

The party’s union council president, Ghulamur Rehman, was removed through a no-confidence motion by office-bearers and workers during a meeting here.

The office-bearers alleged that Mr Rehman had no interest in party affairs, which annoyed them.

They appointed Matiur Rehman as the new president of the union council. Matiur Rehman resolved to work for boosting the party’s image in the area.

Meanwhile, a man was electrocuted while fixing a power transformer in Solikhel area on Sunday. Inamullah was taken to a nearby health centre in critical condition, but he died there. —Correspondent
