PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said the recommendations of the working group on higher education would help to achieve the desired objectives.

He was talking to members of the working group here on Sunday. Dean of the Centre of Disaster Management, University of Peshawar, Professor Amir Nawaz Khan led the delegation.

Mr Khattak said the provincial government had given the universities discretionary powers to produce good results.

He said the previous government had taken no step to develop higher education in the province. -APP
