APROPOS the letter `Telemarl(eting hazards` (Feb 13). Sometimes, I receive up to 50 text messages daily from telemarketing organisations.
I cannot block their messages because no phone number is provided. Even though I personally visited some of these companies, and they have promised me that they would stop sending messages to me, they continue to do so.
I even asked my cellphone service provider which says in its advertisements that it is our country`s largest cell phone service provider to block the advertisers but the organiosation`s customer services staff informed me that they do not have the means to do so.
