I AM a Canadian of Pakistani origin and generally appreciate the ideas of Pervez Hoodbhoy. But I differ with him on some points he presented in his article ‘Why Pakistan loses its best’ (Feb 1).
Many Pakistanis who came to study in the US returned with good degrees. I know at least a few of them personally. I must say things are improving in Pakistan, although very slowly.
