I WAS recently in Saudi Arabia to perform Umra. I was pleasantly surprised to see the traffic sense prevailing among drivers there; every pedestrian has the first right to cross the road no matter how long the driver has to wait. I hardly heard a horn being honkedin thelast10 orsodays.
Civilisation is at its highest order here.
However, the situation in Pakistan is quite humiliating where no such manners are practised as result in a chaotic situation on roads.
We must must learn a lesson from Saudi Arabia and start implementing driving and traffic rules religiously..
