Two killed in Lakki incidents

LAKKI MARWAT: Two people were killed and one sustained bullet wounds in separate firing incidents here on Thursday.

In Lakki city, a Nadra official Ihsanullah was shot dead by his rival over an old enmity. Police said that Ihsanullah was allegedly killed by Kiramatullah in Totiabad locality when he was going to of fice. They said that the suspect tried to flee, but the policemen and soldiers who were on census duty in the area overpowered him and also recovered a pistol from his possession.

Separately, a woman was killed and her male relative was wounded in a firing incident in Kot Kashmir locality of Tajori police station. According to police, an exchange of harsh words between two brothers Nisar Khan and Shah Sawar led to opening of fire by the latter. As a result, Ferangi Bibi was 1(illed on the spot while Nisar sustained bullet injuries.

Police registered separate cases and have started investigations.

MOLESTED: A teenage boy was molested in Wanda Nizami village in the limits of Lakki Marwat police station, police said on Thursday.

They said that the boy, 13, told them that he was grazing goats in a deserted area near the village when one Samiullah came there and subjected him to sexual assault. The police registered a case against the accused and had started investigation.
