Youth booked over threats to TikToker

MUZAFFARGARH: A young man was booked by the Daira Din Panah police for abusing a TikToker girl and issuing threats againsther.

According to the first information report (FIR), complainant Muhammad Armaghan alleged that his sister, Alishba Fatima, received a friend request from Muzammil Rauf but she refused to accept it.

Later, Rauf threatened her and used foul language against his sister. The victim saved the screenshots and told her family about it.

Daira Din Panah police registered a case against the suspect under the Telegraph Act.

INQUIRY: Daira DinPanah police registered a case against four journalists for alleged violence during a protest by the traders against the municipal committee officials.

District Police Officer Dr Rizwan Khan, in an open court, ordered an inquiry into the case against journalists and alleged violence on Saturday. According to details, traders were protesting by blocking the road against the revenue and municipal committee officialsforsealingtheirshops.

Police took action against the protesters and tortured journalists who were accompanying the protesters. Later, Daira Din Panah police registered the case againstfour journalists and 15 identified and 15 unidentified men for attacking thepolice with batons, snatching their mobile phones, service cards and cash.

On Saturday, the DPO, during an open court, ordered an inquiry into the incident. He said if the inquiry proved the allegations against the SHO, he would be taken to task.

BODY FOUND: The body of an unidentified person was found near the head on Fatehpur Bridge Munda Canal on Sunday. Police shifted the body to hospital for a post-mortem.

CAMEL: Sitpur Police Station arrested a man and recovered from him a valuable camel that he had stolen about a month ago.

Police arrested the suspect, identified as Baga Budhwani, and recovered the camel worth Ra0.9m from him.
