KA RACHI: The president of Pakistan Peoples Party, Sindh chapter, Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, has said the Nawaz government is continuing exploitation of smaller provinces by not announcing the NFC award.

Addressing a press conference at the PPP Media Cell after presiding over a meeting of newly-elected provincial, divisional and district of fice-bearers at the PPP Sindh Secretariat, he said Tarbela Dam was built over Indus River and by generating electricity water was being stolen from Sindh`s share, turning the province dry.

Referring to the ongoing loadshedding of 20 hours, Mr Khuhro, who is also provincial Senior Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, announced that sit-ins would be held on April 30 in every divisional headquarters and on May 14 at the provincial level against `callous` attitude of the utility services`authorities.

He recalled that it was clearly stipulated in the Constitution that the province which produces resources would get first priority in its use.
