WASHINGTON: The Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars has appointed Dr Ishrat Husain its public policy fellow for 2016-17.
The Washington-based institution announced that Mr Husain would spend nine months in residence at the Wilson Centre and work on a project on the governance situation and institutional capacity in Pakistan and how this has affected the country`s economy.
Mr Husain was dean and director of the IBA in Karachi between 2008 and 2016.
He is currently professor emeritus at the IBA and chairman at the Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance. -Correspondent
