NOWSHERA: The police here claimed to have resolved the murder case of a subinspector and arrested six suspects on Thursday.

`The police arrested the accused persons and have recovered the weapon used in the murder,` said district police officer Mansoor Aman while talking to mediapersons here in Nowhsera.

The body of police official Yar Mohammad was found at Kheshgi graveyard some two weeks ago.

The DPO said that the police arrested Arif, Nadeem, Waqar, Zahoor Gul, Niaz and ljaz and they had confessed to the crime during initial investigations.

He said that the accused disclosed that Yar Mohammad was invited first to Mardan and then brought to Kheshgi graveyard, Nowshera, where he was shot dead. He claimed that the police recovered the vehicle and pistol used in the crime and had stahed fudher investigation.Correspondent
