PESHAWAR: Security forces recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition in Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan Agency near Afghan border on Friday, said the Inter Services Public Relations, the media wing of the army.

A statement issued here said that the recovered arms and ammunition included 12.7mm HMGs, SMGs, missile launchers, pistols, large number of RPG 7 and ammunition of various calibers, including rockets of RPG7, Draganov, rockets of 107mm, ammunition boxes of 12.7 HMGs, SBRL and IEDs along with detonators.

The statement said that raids were conducted in Sar Kunr and Manzr Khel areas of Datakhel tehsil during a combing operation in the area.—Bureau Report
