TAXILA: The procession of Alam-o-Zuljinnah was taken out in Attock with due solemnity and sanctity in which martyrs of Karbalawere paid tributes.

The Muharram 9 procession was taken out from different localities of Sheen Bagh area. The procession after passing through its traditional route ended peacefully at Imambargah Hussainia Sheen Bagh. Later, a Majlis was held at the Imambargah in which Zakireen Imran Bukhari, Murtaza Ashiq, Tahir Abbas and Sakhawat Hussain highlighted the sacrifices of Imam Husain.

Tributes were paid to Imam Husain (peace and blessing be upon him) and his companions for giving great sacrifice in the fight against evil forces to raise the dignity of Islam.

The administration had placed containers and other obstacles, including barbed wire on the routes of the processions, while sealing the central areas from all sides. The participants were allowed to enter after passing through walk-through gates.
