QUETTA: Three pedestrians, including a woman, were injured in an explosion caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a motorcycle parked along the roadside in the Hazarganji area on Wednesday.

The victims were identified as Hoori Bibi, and two residents of Mari Camp, Bagh Ali and Abdul Qadir.

They were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Police sources said that the device was detonated using a timer.-Staff Correspondent
