PAT`s Qisas movement second phase from 20th

LAHORE: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has announcedthesecondphase of `Qisas and National Solidarity Movement` will begin on Aug 20 and continue till Aug 30.
The PAT`s central core committee meeting, chaired by its chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri, decided the protest demonstrations and sit-ins would be held in Lahore, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Sibi, Kohat, Dera Murad Jamali, Sukkur, Dera Ismail Khan and 71 other cities.
The second phase of the `Qisas and National Solidarity Movement` of PAT would begin with a major protest demonstration and sit-in in Islamabad.
On Aug 21, protest demonstrations would be held in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahuddin, Gujrat and 21 other cities. On 25th, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur, Muzaffarabad and 11 other cities wouldwitness protest demonstrations while on 27th protests would be held in Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, and 110ther cities.
On 28th, demonstrations and sit-ins would be held in Rawalpindi, Quetta, Karachi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Haripur and 20 other cities.
All the demonstrations will be addressed by PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri through a video link.
Addressing the party meeting, the PAT chief said the protests and sit-ins would be held to get Qisas for PAT workers killed in Model Town and the country`s economic condition and to rid the country of terrorists and extremists.
`How I can forget June 17, 2014, the day the rulers killed my unarmed and innocent sons and daughters on the streets of Model Town, he said and added that a strong sense of cohesiveness existed within the people of the country who supported PAT demands and its movement.
