LAHORE: `So considerate for his nation that he did not like to bother them by giving out the seriousness of his illness, the Quaidi-Azam fought [the] last battle of his life single handed,` said Dr. Riaz Ali Shah, the wellknown T.B. specialist (who had been in attendance on the Quaid during his last days), at a meeting tonight [Sept 14] held under the auspices of the Punjab Muslim Students Federation in connection with the Quaid-i-Azam`s death anniversary. Mr Justice M.R. Kiani presided.

Giving some glimpses of the Quaid`s last days, Dr Shah said that the Father of the Nation had always been proud of Pakistan, so much so that `Pakistan` was one of the last intelligible words he uttered.
