GUJRANWALA: Sub-Inspector (SI) Muhammad Shaukat who was injured in a scuffle with Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists at Sadhoki some two months ago died in Mayo Hospital, Lahore, on Thursday.
His funeral prayers were offered at police line.
Regional Police Officer Syed Dilawer Abbas said the accused involved in Shaukat`s killing would be taken to task.
LOOTED: Gunmen looted cash from two employees of the Defence Housing Authority near Kamoki on Thursday.
Gulzar and Faisal were traveling in a car when on GT Road three robbers on a motorcycle intercepted them. They snatched Rs600,000 from them and escaped.

FIA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested two money exhangers and seized bills from them.
FIA Deputy Director Malik Sikandar said Imran Butt and Arshad Ali had been running illegal money change in Mandi Bahauuddinforthelastsixyears.
FIA officials seized Rs200,000 from them. He said two other accomplices Naeem Butt and Irfan Butt escaped. He said a case had been registered against them.
