BAH AWALPUR: The anti-corruption police on Thursday arrested excise and taxation clerk Muhammad Fayyazul Haq for allegedly receiving Rs10,000 bribe from citizen Munir Ahmed.

According to anti-corruption police circle inspector Rana Kaleem Ahmed, Fayyaz had demanded Rs10,000 from complainant Munir Ahmed for issuance of transfer order of his house. The raiding party was led by magistrate Shehzad Ahmed.
