LAHORE: A delegation of Excise and Taxation Department inspectors on Wednesday visited the Punjab Revenue Authority`s operations headquarters to get know-how of the organization and working of the premier tax collection agency.
A briefing session was arranged for 36 inspectors who were recruited by the E&T Department about a year ago and are currently getting training by visiting different Punjab departments with the coordination of the Punjab Management and Professional Development Department.
Additional Commissioner (Enforcement) Shehzad Mehmood Gondal gave a detailed presentation about the PRA`s working, taxpayer facilitation services, transparency in tax collection, organization`s ethics, performance of the authority and future plans.
The trainees took keen interest in the working and operations of the PRA and showed their willingness to serve in the PRA in future.
