Block in memory of APS angel

GUJR AT: A Rs5 million academic block at the Government High School, Chakri Rajgan, was inaugurated on Wednesday by Maj Gen Mohammad Chiragh Haider.

The block was built in the memory of Mehr Ali Azam, a Jhelum-based student of the Army Public School of Peshawar, who was killed in a Taliban attack last year.

Maj Gen Haider said thewhole nation shared the pain of the families whose children and teachers were killed in the school attack. He said operation Zarb-i-Azb had broken the backbone of militants.

Jhelum District Coordination Officer (DCO) Zulfiqar Ghuman said the nation with the cooperation of the army would eradicate terrorism from the country.

Both Maj Gen Haider and DCO Ghumman also laid wreath at the grave of Azam.
