LAHORE An exhibition of artworks, titled, Healing through Art, opened at Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall on Monday. It is being organised by the Hubullah Welfare Society in collaboration with the Lahore Arts Council.

The event was inaugurated by Huhullah Welfare Society patron in chief Prof Dr Ahsan Waris along with LAC Executive Director Athar Ali Khan and Chairperson BOG Lahore Arts Council Moneeza Hashmi was also present at the event.

In the opening ceremony, Dr Waris said such efforts through visual art would create awareness among the people on cancer. LAC Executive Director Athar Ali Khan said the two-day exhibition was being held to create awareness on cancer and to tell the public about how to prevent the deadly disease. Staff Reporter
