LAHORE: Army outclassed Wapda in both men`s and women`s finals to claim the title at the 26th National Baseball Championship.

Army defended the men`s crown with a 4-0 win over Wapda, while its woman team cruised to a 15-2 victory against to claim the title.

Wasim Akram of Army was named the best batter in the men`s event with Mohammad Zohaib earning the best pitcher honour.

In the women`s category, Wapda`s Gul Feroza was recognised as the best batter, while Army`s Sadia Bibi was awarded best pitcher.-Sports Reporter
