SUKKUR: Moin Samang, the 20-year-old brother of UC chairman Mubeen Samang, was found murdered in the Wada Samang village, situated within the limits of Khairpur’s B-Section police station on Sunday night.

Some passers-by found the body, with visible torture marks, lying in a mango orchard in the area and informed the police.

Speaking to the media, Mubeen Samang said his brother was a student of the Sindh University. He was last seen talking to someone over his mobile phone in his family’s guest room. He later went missing and the family as well as the police mounted a search for him, he said, adding that Moin’s mobile phone was found switched off.

Later, some people informed him about his body lying in the orchards, Mobeen said.
