PESHAWAR: Volunteers of a student-driven charity organisation held a free medical camp at Ziarat Kaka Sahib union council in Nowshera district.
Patients, majority among them women and children, hailing from the local community were provided essential diagnostic and treatment services along with ultrasound facility during the camp organised under the auspices of Helping Humanity Organisation (HHO).
According to a press statement issuedhere onMonday, as many as 969 patients, 397 women and 368 children among them, were treated during the free medical camp, while 168 patients were provided ultrasound facility.
Later, an awareness session on the importance of personal hygiene was also conducted during the camp. HHO`s Farhan Nawaz Khalil briefed the participants and community members on the importance of personal hygiene and its role in disease prevention. Bureau Report
