QUETTA: A three-day exhibition of Japanese calenders opened here at the Japanese cultural centre on Friday.

Former chief secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan Munir Ahmed Badani, who inaugurated the exhibition, the calendar displayed in the exhibition reflected the Japanese traditions, culture, history and the development of Japan. He said the event provided the visitors a chance to experience various aspects of Japanese culture. The honorary consul general of Japan for Balochistan Syed Nadeem Shah and the president of Pak-Japan Friendship Society Syed Ferooz Shah, poet Sarwar Javed, and a number of people were present at the opening ceremony.-Staff Correspondent
