LAHORE: The Punjab police claim to have arrested through the Interpol from Dubai seven suspects wanted in the cases lodged against them with various police stations of the province.

A team of police experts was dispatched with all necessary documents to bring the suspects back toinitiate proceedings against them under the law, an official said.

He said they had fled Pakistan and the Punjab police had contacted the officials in Dubai seeking theirhelpforarrests.

Of them, Fayaz Anwar, Saif, Majid Butt, Tariq Javed and Nauman were wanted in the cases lodged against them under murder, attempted murder, anti-terrorism and other charges in the provincialcapital.

The cases were registered with Hanjarwal, Kot Lakhpat, Harbanspura and Baghbanpura police stations, he said. Amanat Ali and Ahmad Husain were wanted to the Gujrat and RY Khan police.
