LAHORE: The Punjab government has instructed the civil administration as well as police and intelligence agencies formations to adopt strict security measures for the Christian community celebrating Good Friday and Easter from Friday (today) onwards.

The home department has instructed the divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, police formations and the directors general of Rescue 1122 and Civil Defence to hold divisional and district intelligence committees meetings, analyse threat perception and adopt foolproof security measures.

The Christian community is celebrating Good Friday on Friday (today) followed by Easter on Sunday. Staff Reporter
