LAHORE: Tabling four ordinances and fulfilling the condition of 100 parliamentary meeting days are the two main objectives of the Punjab Assembly session starting from May 19.
The session is likely to last for 10 days, officials said on Wednesday.
The draft laws that are scheduled to be tabled in the assembly include The Police Order (Amendment) Ordinance 2017, The Rawalpindi Medical University Ordinance, The Faisalabad Medical University Ordinance and The Nishtar Medical University Ordinance.
Annual reports on observance and implementation of principles of policy for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013, annual reports of the Punjab ombudsman from 2012 to 2015 and of the Punjab Public Service Commission for the year 2014 would also be tabled.—Staff Reporter
