TAXILA: Former special assistant to the prime minister (SAPM) Malik Amin Aslam has expressed his concern over police`s failure to arrest people involved in the murder of a 16-year-old teenager.

Mr Khan paid a visit to the father of the victim, a tailor by profession, at his house in Rehmoo village near Hazro on Tuesday. The victim, Hashir Ali, had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on May 12. His body was later found near Jinnah Park on May 13.

Mr Aslam expressed his grief and sorrow over the tragic death of the ninth grader and assured his support towards provision of justice to the aggrieved family. He also met with police officers to ask them about the investigation process.

Speaking to the victim`s family members, he urged police and other law enforcement agencies to play their role towards arresting those involved in the brutal murder. Correspondent
