GUJRANWALA: A girl allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the canal here on Tuesday night.

Reports said an unidentified girl in her 20`s jumped from the Super Asia Bridge into the Upper Chenab canal around 11pm on Tuesday night and drowned.

On receipt of information, Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and recovered the body which was shifted to the civil hospital.
