LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency`s (FIA`s) anti-human smuggling circle of Lahore has arrested six travel agents for working without licence.

An FIA team on Tuesday raided the Technical Training Centre, Thokar Bypass, and arrested Imran, Naveed Azad, Abdul Shakoor, Shafiq, Nasir Hussain and Zahid Iqbal.

Up to 55 Pakistani passports along with other documents were recovered from the suspects.

Mobile phones and other records were also seized.

The suspects were collecting large sums of money and passports from citizens offering overseas employment, a spokesperson for the FIA said. He said the suspects were running the illegal business in collusion with their accomplices, Tariq Yaqoob and Tajammul Hussain.
