THIS is apropos Nadia Agha`s article `Gender inequality` (July 11). I respect the writer`s ideas. No doubt, women should be given equality in every aspect of life.
Should there be gender descrimination? Recently, when jobs for high school teachers, junior school teachers and primary school teacher were announced, a great number of women were appointed by giving them 20 grace marks.
Is this gender equality the writer is talking about? The male students who got high marks were ruined by incompetent women teachers who were given extra 20 marks. However, I would support equality of both sides.
