TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad`s Garh police arrested a young man on Monday for torturing a transgender and forcibly shaving her hair in Kanjwani city of Tandlianwala tehsil.

The FIR was registered under sections 355, 506, and 337 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Complainant Muskan stated that she performs dance at wedding ceremonies and had a friendship with suspect Malik Muhammad Waseem of Chak 541 GB, who used to visit her house frequently.

Muskan added that when she informed him about her performance at a function the previous night, he became agitated and forbade her from performing in future functions. After an argument, he overpowered her, severely tortured her, and forcibly shaved her head. Correspondent
