TOBA TEK SINGH : A running Vego pickup truck caught fire and was completely burnt on Monday on the M-3 motorway near Pirmahal interchange.
The owner, Wasim Akhtar of Mailsi, Vehari, along with two men and three women from his family, was traveling toLahore when the vehicle caught fire. Fortunately, all six people managed to jump out of the vehicle and remained unhurt, but the pickup was completely destroyed within a few minutes. According to Akhtar, electric shortcircuit in the engine may bethe reasonforthehre.
