ISLAMABAD: One of the accused in the Barrister Fahad Malik murder case on Wednesday obtained interim bail from the district and sessions court of Islamabad, police said.
The Shalimar police when contacted confirmed that the accused had obtained the bail. They said the interim bail will expire on Aug 27 when the court would take up the bail application to confirm or reject the bail, they said.
The bail was granted to the accusedagainst the surety bond of Rs200,000, they added.
The accused was nominated in the FIR on a complaint lodged by Tariq Malik, the uncle of Fahad Malik, with Shalimar police station.
Fahad Malik, the nephew of Mohammedmian Soomro, former chairman senate, was gunned down on service road of F-10/3.
Malik Tariq was also injured during the incident.Staff Reporter
