LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau`s Lahore team arrested on Thursday a former police SSP for making illegal assets worth over Rs200 million.

A NAB spokesman told Dawn that Azad Kahut, a ranker, had made illegal assets during his service till 2006. NAB initiated investigation against him on a complaint.

He will be produced before an accountability court on Friday for physical remand.
