LAHORE: A meeting chaired by caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi here decided to turn urban roads dust-free for the eradication of smog.

The roads will be washed by the waste management companies in their respective areas, while deputy commissioners will launch a crackdown againstthose involved in selling substandard fuel.

The CM ordered the implementation of Smog Prevention & Control Rules 2023 and sought a comprehensive plan from all concerned departments to bring down smog at the lowest level. Staff Reporter
