BAJAUR: Pakistan Peoples Party`s Bajaur chapter on Sunday issued show-cause notices to six local leaders for forming a splinter group, asking them to explain their move without 10 days or face disciplinary action.

According to a statement issued by the party`s general secretary, the decision was made during a meeting held in Khar earlier in the day chaired by Haji Sher Bahadar, PPP district president.

It said the participants expressed concern over the formation of a parallel group by some `selfish` party workers, and termed the act as an attempt to split the PPP in Bajaur.
