IMMIGRANTS are being maligned in America at an alarming rate. Politicians have sunk to new lows to further their narrative of division and apartheid.

Some politicians have promised to halt legal immigration, raising concerns for many people who await their fate to immigrate or the arrival of a loved one.

The US won seven Nobel Prizes in 2016 out of which six laureates are immigrants.

Surprising? Those who have shaped the Constitution throughout the centuries didn`t believe in an unbalanced system or a discriminatory doctrine that would alienate a section of our society.

They left behind guiding principles, which guarantee liberty and justice for all.

I am an immigrant, a scientist, and even I aspire to win the Nobel Prize someday just like any other scientist. I share the same ideals and values of any other American is to serve this country to the best of my ability and to live the American dream.
