KARACHI: The Sindh government on Thursday imposed a ban on pillion riding across the province for Sunday and Monday (Nov 20-21) in line with security arrangements for Chehlum of Imam Hussain, said an official.

`The decision has been taken on the advice of security and law enforcement agencies,` he said.

`Women, disabled persons, senior citizens, journalists, law enforcement agencies personnel and children under 12 years remain exempted from the ban,` said the official citing the home department notification.
